Things to Do
The area surrounding Pocahontas is mostly farmland and residential area. There are some great places to eat like Dairy King and Wally's, and swing by Hidden Lake Winery in Aviston for a tasting! However, nearby St. Louis is a tourist hot spot with plenty to do if you find yourself with some time.
Gateway Arch National Park
Grounds around the arch were recently redone, and it's a gorgeous place to walk!
Missouri Botanical Garden
One of Kenzie's favorites! Located in the historic Shaw neighborhood, with beautiful old homes and also near Tower Grove Park, which has a LOVELY farmer's market on Saturday mornings (if you can make it that early!!).
City Foundry STL
Foodies rejoice! Will's favorite spot in the city is a food hall with something for everyone. Indian food, pizza, chicken, even some dessert options. For some extra fun, see if you can get into the hidden speakeasy...
