Although Mark and Kenzie had crossed paths at Vanderbilt before, it was love at first sight when they met at Rippy's on Kenzie's 22nd birthday. They quickly discovered they shared the same sense of humor and love for music and movies.


After a whirlwind four-month romance during the second semester of their senior year of college, Mark and Kenzie moved to Atlanta together in the summer of 2019. Once there, they adopted their sweet cat daughter, Suzie Miller Pickett, and got started on their legal careers! Two lawyers, how fun!


On September 30, 2023, Mark planned a beautiful picnic to ask Kenzie to marry him. Kenzie was too excited to reply properly (she yelled OKAY!).


Mark and Kenzie have spoken every single day for 2,214 days (as of February 4, 2024). They plan to speak every single day for the rest of their lives. Although travel and work sometimes keep them apart for a few days, they are at their happiest when together. They're best friends!


Mark and Kenzie can hardly wait to say I do on October 4, 2025. They look forward to celebrating with you all more than they can express!
