It was June 2020. Mackenzie was out golfing with her dad for Father's day up at their old cottage in Tiny, Ontario. He encouraged her to start dating again.

Mackenzie decided to take her dads advice and download Tinder. She had it for about 2 weeks before she "matched" with Carter while he was up working in Midland, Ontario.

The texting conversation was easy, the conversations flowed nicely so they decided to officially meet.

Carter & Mackenzie first met on June 30th, 2020 at Julie and Steve's Lake Drive property (when it was just a piece of land).

Carter took her out on his boat to fish and they watched a beautiful sunset on the dock.

The date went as perfect as any date could have gone. 3 months later they moved in together and 4 years later, they are getting married!

Special Dates

Moved in together in October of 2020.

Bought a house together in June of 2021.

Got engaged on October 15th, 2022.

And will be officially tying the knot on June 30th, 2024, marking our 4 year anniversary!
