On a typical Minnesota evening, full of snow flurries we went to Caribou Coffee and spent the evening chatting and playing games. Who knew sparks and conversation could flow so easily. Sharing a cup coffee is something that has become a huge love in our relationship. It is always a race to see who can grab the last cup of coffee in the pot before the other does. We then went on a more official date to Savoy's in the cities and couldn't stop talking. It was a very simple connection that has turned into the most beautiful journey. We have spent the last 7 years between Minnesota and Wisconsin. We have some major core memories of road tripping to Destin Florida, traveling out of the country, backpacking Superior with family, fostering dogs and our greatest joy having our Son, Dutton. Taylor had plans to propose to MacKenzie on the weekend they found out we were pregnant with our sweet boy, so he had to make a quick change of plans. Since MacKenzie was so sick first trimester there wasn't a great time to propose. Taylor surprised MacKenzie at family pictures with a beautiful proposal, some would say "about dang time"! We are looking forward to our very special wedding day where we can truly celebrate the beginning of the Metcalf family. Cheers!
