Our Wedding

It all started in 7th grade computer lab. Two awkward kids who were assigned seats beside each other. He wore a maroon jacket that was 3 sizes too big, and had an awkward buzz with curly hair. We flirted the only way middle schoolers knew how: sharing tips to cheat on I- Ready, competed in nitro type, and made awkward jokes to make one another laugh. Unlike every other middle school “fling” we somehow managed to stay best friends. We spent all of high school doing our own things knowing we still had something so special. It wasn’t until the end of our freshman year of college that we started to actually allow ourself to try and get closer than just flirty snapchat’s and awkward FaceTimes. He attempted to get me to go on dates with him, but I was too nervous. Until, he came up with a plan to get me to “help” him with his final for school. I finally worked the nerve to go on a date with him December 1, 2023. Obviously, his plan worked and we made it “official” December 9, got engaged September 14, 2024, and will tie the knot May 9, 2026!
