The year after graduating high school, Mackenzie and Wilson both attended the University of West Georgia, ready to embrace the next chapter of their lives. Mackenzie joined Alpha Gamma Delta, honoring the memory of her beloved aunt, while Wilson became a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon, joining alongside his best friend from high school.

College life was filled with unforgettable experiences—late-night study sessions, lifelong friendships, and moments that shaped who they would become. They both fully embraced their Greek life journeys, cherishing every moment and the bonds they formed along the way.

Mackenzie and Wilson's love story starts at a Waffle House over scattered hashbrowns and syrup-drenched waffles, they talked about their childhoods, their dreams and their families. They stayed there for hours, long after their plates were empty, neither wanting to say goodbye.From that moment on, Waffle House became their place—celebrating big wins and late-night cravings.

Life moved quickly after that. One dog became two, and before they knew it, their furry companions had become their whole world. Together, they embarked on adventures across the United States, exploring new places and making countless memories along the way. But nothing could compare to their most unforgettable journey yet—a cruise to Mexico.

What began as another exciting trip turned into a moment that would change everything; the journey led to a life-changing question. With the waves gently rocking the ship and the sun setting over the horizon, one knee touched the ground, and in that perfect moment, a promise for forever was made.
