On Thursday November 18th, 2021 Cameron and Mackenzie met at a Greek Life coed-event. Prior that day Kenzie told her now Maid of Honor Lauren Dittig that her one goal that night was that she was going to meet a great guy. At the event Cameron spotted Kenzie in a crowded room and knew he wanted to talk to her. He approached her and knew that she was everything that he was looking for. After Cameron approached her and her group of friends, Kenzie liked him but was hesitant, but Lauren had other plans. Lauren preceded to guide Kenzie towards Cameron and they hit it off.


On November 24th they went on their first date in downtown Sugar Hill where they ate at a local restaurant and explored all that the downtown had to offer.


December 18th, after they returned from an adventure in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and they started dating.


Fast forward to March 13th, 2024 on their vacation together, Cameron told her that they were attending dinner at a restaurant on the beach. When walking to dinner on the sidewalk, Cameron told her that they should walk there on the beach. After walking on the sand Cameron, proceeded to take her near the water where he got down on a knee and proposed to her.
