Nathan & Mackenzie's first date began with 'Do you have a onesie' and the rest is history. We have gone through buying a new house in 2019 (10/10 don't recommend), a yearlong deployment in South Korea 2021-2022 (learning how to sleep alone to then having to share the bed - hard one for the dog especially), starting a non-Army job (ask Nathan about this hot topic) to then getting engaged on July 7th, 2023 (10/10 recommend!).

We began looking at wedding venues when Nathan received a call stating he may be tapped for a deployment for January 2024 but would not know for certain until closer to the final date. This quickly shut down any wedding planning dreams.

Finally, we heard in November that Nathan would not be deploying! During this news, Mackenzie was scrolling on Instagram and found that the Hutton House was doing an intimate wedding package giveaway! Following a few pages, submitting an application and crossing our fingers - we could not believe it when we got the email that we won!!! We are so excited to be able to share this incredible gift and day with you all and embrace your love and support to both of us in this next chapter. Thank you for being a part of our forever story!
