This is the first time I saw nick. All I remember is he was wearing a flannel and boots, holding a Bible, and walking up these stairs. I turned to my roommate Olivia and said "whoooo issss thattttt :0". I think somewhere deep down in my heart God gave me a feeling that day that I was gonna marry him, I still remember this moment very clearly and it stands out to me:)

This was our sophomore year fall when we started becoming friends! We were both late to the FCA pumpkin party so we were partners. We put together our huge creativity and pumpkin carving capabilities and this is what we came up with:

We had been friends for 3 months and BAM we're in Colorado together visiting our new friend Hannah's family. In this moment the four of us were in one of the two cars full of our friends and stopped to see the sunset over the mountains.

Crazy enough, we had the privilege of going to Israel together with our good friend Olivia on a May term course since we were both religion majors! This was an absolute dream for us to both get to see the Holy Land together and make some awesome new friends and great memories.

Our first "date," but still just friends at this point! This is one of Mackenzie's sorority functions known as "Crush." It was an absolute blast together!

We all had to partner up on snowmobiles and me and Mack spent the day riding through Yellowstone National Park living an absolute dream. I eventually sank the snowmobile after taking a detour into some deep snow, our guide was pretty tired of all my "monkeying around."

After our ski excursion, we made our way as a group to Charleston. This is when both of our friends brought the obvious chemistry between us to our attention. Neither of us at this point had thought much about it.

Things started heating up between us haha! We started talking all day everyday!

Next up, we spent 3 weeks in Italy and Turkey becoming well acquainted with new cultures...

and each other! lol.

Then came summer. Mack and I spent every weekend we could together.

Brought friends with us to hang out most weekends. This is when Mack's dad took Mateo, TC, and I flying!

This is the day Mack and I spent together running errands, as the last time we'd see each other before she went to study abroad in Spain. Walking down her driveway that day, was the first time I knew I loved her! It was insane, she didn't know I thought this until way later.

I graduated early and spent the last few months of what would be our Senior year in Hawaii, Vietnam, and Indonesia! I ended up booking a flight and coming home 2 weeks early, surprising Mack and our friends just in time for her last formal!

We got the crazy opportunity to go to San Quentin in California and do prison ministry with Bob Goff and his friends. One of the most impactful days of our lives. Still have no idea how we ended up here! Only God.
