MacKenzie's name was first mentioned to Christian while Christian was looking to meet people. It didn't take long for Christian to find MacKenzie on Skype, and almost instantly, he was tripping over his words in embarrassment. Many conversations had happened, and Christian then realized a solid fact he believes in to this day: Kenzie was the one for him. After a sudden I love you, Kenzie and Christian planned the first meeting. On June 24, 2016, after issues with a car rental situation, Christian met MacKenzie for the weekend. Their first date was at the local Renaissance Faire, and they knew then and there they were meant to be together. Multiple conventions, family visits, and a Yule Ball later, on July 8th 2017, just a few days after MacKenzie moved to Indiana, Christian set up the perfect plan. MacKenzie, accompanied by her friend LeNaia, came to the first place Christian took her to in Indiana, God's Garden in Newburgh. Utilizing the help of some of his groomsmen, it was there, in front of both their friends and family, that Christian asked Kenzie to marry him. She said yes, and their love grew stronger, and continues to grow each day.
