Hi, this is Mackenzie, and I LOVE our story so I had to add this on our wedding website!

In 2018 (when I was 22 and Zach was 20) we both ended up at the same place, EDC. For those that don't know, EDC is one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world bringing around 200,000 people per day!

Our groups ended up crossing paths at 6am after the 2nd day of the festival. When our groups started talking, Zach walked up to me. I asked where he was from and he said Phoenix, Arizona. Of course I was shocked because what are the odds that I ran into someone from the city I live in out of all these people. Then.....I asked where in Phoenix he lived, and he only lived 30 minutes from me. WHAT ARE THE ODDS?! So we exchanged information, and he put my name down in his phone as "Mckensie" or something which is so hilarious, and we went on our way.

June rolls around and I see his name pop up on my phone. We started talking and he asked me out on our first date to see.....The Incredibles 2!!! And when we both jumped in the movie theatre because we got startled at a KIDS MOVIE, I knew he was the one. But after that, we never stopped talking and seeing each other.

6 months later we found our first apartment together and have been laughing and creating memories together ever since.

So 2 people ended up running into each other in a sea of 200,000 people, a run in with FATE.

We are so grateful for everyone that has been apart of our story this whole time, we love you all.
