Depending on who you ask, you may hear a differing story, but here is the unbiased version! Mackinzie was in her sophomore year at SDSU (Go Jacks!) and Aaron was working on the farm back in WI. Although they were 6 hours apart at the time, both of them were on Tinder. Neither of them were really sure what they wanted at the time and nothing had come of any of the others they had met on Tinder thus far. This is where the story has differing opinions. Mackinzie will tell you Aaron 'super liked' her, while Aaron will tell you it was in fact Mackinzie who hit the 'super like' button for him. Regardless, they matched and began talking. They quickly began to realize how much they had in common and Aaron asked when they could meet in person. Mackinzie was very skeptical of meeting someone from a dating app, but Aaron was persuasive enough and talked her into letting him take her on a date when she was home on Christmas break. The first date consisted of Texas Roadhouse, a movie, and Aaron doing the majority of the talking. They continued to talk and Mackinzie had to return to school for Spring semester. Aaron was soon heading to South Dakota for a cow show and decided it was time for a second date. Their second date took place at the Sioux Empire Show where Mackinzie met a handful of Aaron's friends. She can't count the amount of times she heard "wow, the girl you were talking about is actually real". After the first couple of dates, Mackinzie decided it was finally time to tell her family about him and that it was safe to visit his house in WI. One weekend while visiting Aaron, he asked her if she wanted to be his girlfriend and the rest is history. Fast forward roughly 4 years, Aaron proposed to Mackinzie in Punta Cana while on vacation. He set up dinner on the beach and had a private cabana where he popped the question and she said YES!

In order to book in the room block and receive the block rate, you must call the hotel directly at (507) 765-2533. Tell them you are apart of the Kinning/Brass Wedding room block. This block will close September 4th.

Transportation

There will be a shuttle running between the venue and the hotel prior to the ceremony as well as in the evening. The shuttle will beginning transporting around 2:20pm and making the last drop off before the ceremony at 3:20pm. It will then begin making trips at 10:30pm and will make the final drop off at 12:30am. If you plan to stay at Hidden Valley Campground, pickup is at 3pm. *Vehicles may be left at the venue overnight but must be picked up prior to 12PM on Sunday.
