Our Wedding

Our love story began sophomore year at UW Madison, where we both worked for the campus Recreation and Wellness department. We spent many late nights on the soccer fields chatting, setting up equipment, and managing games which quickly turned into something more. We’d eagerly check our schedules each week, hoping for overlapping shifts, and soon became close friends. Mack introduced Brooke to his fraternity brothers, and many games of beer darts brought us even closer. Despite the challenges of the pandemic during our senior year, we spent every moment together we could. Thanks to a clever plan by Brooke’s roommate Mallory and Mack’s best friend Mike, we finally went on our first date: dumplings from State Street on the hill of the Capitol on September 4, 2020. That night, we decided it was meant to be, sealing our relationship with a handshake. We graduated together in May 2021, moved to Milwaukee, and built a life side by side. In May 2025, Mack proposed at the very spot where our story began, and by August, we had bought our first home together. We can’t wait to continue this journey as husband and wife!

This hotel is a little more upscale if you're looking for a Boutique Hotel experience. We will not be offering a shuttle for this hotel, however it is located much closer to the bars that we will visit after the reception ends.

Hilton Appleton Paper Valley

Airports

We highly recommend flying into the Appleton airport if possible since it is the closest to our wedding. It is a 20 minute drive from the reception.

Appleton International Airport (ATW)

The Green Bay airport is also nearby. It is a 32 minute drive from the wedding reception.

Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport

The Milwaukee airport might be necessary depending on flight times/prices. It is about a 2 hour drive from Milwaukee to Appleton. Contact the bride or groom if you need help getting from Milwaukee to Appleton!
