In November 2024, Macy got a text from one of her best friends, Kate. It read:

"Do you know Zach Hunter? He would be perfect for you."

Macy had never heard of Zach, but naturally, she pulled up his Instagram. One quick scroll confirmed two things: he was cute, and he clearly had a heart for the Lord. So, Macy did what any girl would do—she slid into his DMs. This message was framed as a networking opportunity for missions (written by Kate, of course). Macy also noticed that she and Zach had mutual friends—Manny and Phil—so she reached out to both, asking for more details on Zach and, ideally, a little matchmaking help.

Manny and Phil came through like any good friends did— Manny sent Zach Macy’s number, while Phil invited him to their weekly trivia night, telling him that there was a girl who thought he was cute.

From Zach’s perspective, things got… interesting. He suddenly had three girls expressing interest in him:

1. The one who DMed him.

2. The one Manny was vouching for.
