The couple first met during their 2nd trimester of school, Palmer College of Chiropractic. Our mutual friend, Ben Amrein, invited Macy to an in person study/class watching session on campus, where he and Mitchell and a few other friends watched daily lectures. At first, Mitchell wasn't a huge fan of Macy, due to her bright, and sometimes loud, personality. Soon enough though, he would learn how appealing and enduring she was with such a bright personality, and would begin the chase!

Mitchell and Macy began spending a lot of time together, studying with each other every day into the wee hours of the night. After a few months of spending time together and becoming very close friends, Mitchell made his feelings very apparent, however Macy was still a little apprehensive, as she didn't want to ruin a great friendship. Spoiler alert, she eventually came around!

In July, the couple decided to expand their family by adding their fur baby, Remi! She very quickly took the hearts of everyone she met, and has been a true blessing since the day they picked her up!

On June 29th, Mitchell asked Macy the most important question he's ever asked her, and it was the easiest answer she's ever been able to give. It was an obvious, YES!
