Where do we begin… You have two people who were convinced they’d never find love. So, they did what any normal person would have done- hop on an online dating app and lie about their location. Trae would be moving to Dallas within the month, and Macy was finding it hard to meet anyone in the small city of Abilene, so Dallas seemed to be their mutual location! The two hit it off pretty quickly, and their first time ever meeting in person was for a 3.5 hour car ride to Louisiana to help Trae pack up his U-Haul for his transition to Dallas— it could’ve been really good or really bad! Thankfully, it ended up feeling really natural and was super fun, so they decided to start dating after a month or so of knowing each other.

After two weeks of dating, some life changes occurred that caused them to put a pause in their relationship, but not for long. Six months later, they reconnected over Macy making an impromptu visit to Dallas! They grabbed brunch, and at the time they said they were going to ease into things, which obviously didn’t last. The rest is history, and here we are!!

Trae and Macy are super thankful to their friends and family for loving on them so well, and they’re excited to spend the rest of their lives loving on each other in return. Let’s get them married!
