Macy and Morgan met in March of 2022. Macy was finishing her last semester of undergrad at Western Kentucky University, while Morgan was working in Evansville, Indiana as a Civil Engineer. While it may not be the rom-com meet-cute, the two met on Tinder, an online dating app. It was very clear early on that the two were serious about each other.

They met in Owensboro, KY for their first date. After eating dinner, the two sat in a parking lot talking until 2am. Both felt as if they had known the other forever. It didn't take long for the two to officially start dating. One night after Macy had cooked Morgan a fancy dinner in her small apartment in Bowling Green, Morgan asked Macy to dance while Taylor Swift's song "Paper Rings" was playing. It was in that moment Morgan asked Macy to be her girlfriend.

Months later, Macy graduated and started PA school in Murfreesboro, TN, extending their distance from 2 hours to 3 and a half. Long distance brought some new challenges, but overall taught the two how to communicate and trust, strengthening their connection. The two would travel every weekend they could to see the other, each reunion never feeling long enough.

Finally in August of 2023, Morgan decided to move to Murfreesboro. The two moved into an apartment together and have loved how their longest distance is now when the other has to use the bathroom.

In November of 2023, Morgan proposed to Macy surrounded by friends and family. The scene was beautiful, with flowers, candles, and, of course, tons of paper rings. It was the easiest "yes" for Macy. The following month, the two traveled to Morgan's hometown of Charleston, IL for the holidays when Macy surprised Morgan with a proposal of her own, also surrounded by family and friends.

As an engaged couple, the two have been busy wedding planning, while Morgan works as a Civil Engineer for her new firm and Macy is set to graduate Physician Assistant school in August 2024. In May of 2024, the two became moms to their sweet angel, Cleo, a 4-year-old weiner mix they adopted from a shelter in Nashville, TN. Their little family currently lives in Murfreesboro. The two are known as "foodies" and love getting to try new restaurants, recipes, and cuisines. They also enjoy anything in the sunshine, including golfing, swimming, going for walks with Cleo, and pickleball.
