Our Story

In 2022, Jacob and Macy’s journey began with a simple act of kindness at Oklahoma State University. As Macy walked into Edmond Low Library, Jacob held the door open for her, sparking a conversation that would change their lives. That conversation led to Macy inviting Jacob to her sorority's date party, and soon after, they went on a few more dates. By February, Jacob officially asked Macy to be his girlfriend.


Their love grew stronger over time, but a new challenge arose when Jacob moved to Lubbock, Texas, for graduate school. Despite the distance, Jacob and Macy embraced this season as an opportunity to be intentional—nurturing their relationship with each other and, most importantly, with the Lord. For over two years, they navigated long-distance with love, faith, and determination. 


On December 12, 2024, Jacob got down on one knee and asked Macy to spend forever with him, and she said yes! Their story is a testament to love, perseverance, and faith, and they can’t wait to begin this next chapter together.
