Our Story

by Joseph, Joshua, and Anne Marie Williams

"Once upon a time there were 2 20 year olds. One whose name was Albert. Albert could sing like a bird. The other was Macy-as grumpy as a cat. They met at a softball game, which Macy’s brother and dad played at. Albert was there just to watch his friends and be there just to scout out some girls. I remember he was sitting with some girls. Then he saw Macy and the first second he saw her he knew that she was the one for him. The next night he asked her to go out on a date and she gladly said yes. The first few nights were good. They came home and he started singing to her on his guitar. Then her family walked in and they thought it all was funny. But Macy thought it was the sweetest thing anyone had ever done to her. Macy went to almost every single softball game he ever played. She started loving him more and more. And for the next couple years they finally knew enough about each other and Albert finally asked Macy to marry him. And Macy said yes. The end. "

"The first time I had ever met Albert was at a softball game- first season. Then they went on a date two days later. The date I remember was they went to ice cream. He came over to our house and picked up Macy. After that one date we knew him, so he started coming over to hang out with us. He kept showing up to all of our things- if we had a swim meet he would come, if I had a baseball game he would come. He took us everywhere when everyone was working, like pick us up from practice. I had zero clue Albert was going to propose- I was really surprised. I mean- I would hope he would propose because literally everyone likes him here. "

"Albert met Macy at one of dad’s softball games. Y’all went to ice cream after dinner. A few days later Albert came over and brought his truck and brought in his guitar and started singing songs from Mary Poppins and singed like a girl- it was so funny, everyone was cracking up. Sometimes Macy’s family and Albert went to softball games to play, because Brady was his friend. He would come over and make dinner for us, and eventually he started helping Dad at the house. And one day Albert asked Macy to go to mass, he was going to ask Macy if she would marry him, but Macy refused to go. So then they went another day and Albert asked Macy to marry him, and Macy said yes. The end."
