How did you guys meet?

Jake - We met on bumble "dating website"

Macy - We met on a dating website called Bumble. If you don’t know about Bumble, once you match then the lady must contact the man first. Which was scary! Although, we started talking on Snapchat. After 2 video calls, I knew this man was something special!

What was your first impression?

Jake - That this girl is absolutely gorgeous

Macy - My first impression when I saw him get out of his racecar, Challenger RT was “Oh this man is either going to be my greatest heartbreak or my future husband”.

What was your first date?

Jake - Bringing ice cream to her

Macy - It was memorable. Jake took me, tandem kayaking on Lake Woodlands. It was so beautiful, we sent the day on the lake, fishing, drinking our favorite Seagrams, and laughing. Although, My favorite part of our date was Jake grabbing a turtle (who we named Phillip) out of the Lake, just so I could feed it Baked Potato Soup.

What are your favorite things about the bride/groom?

Jake - Her beautiful smile

Macy - His golden heart. This man makes me feel like I am the most beautiful lady in the whole world. He makes sure that I have everything I want and need in life.

Do you have a message for the bride/groom before you get married?

Jake - I will love you and care for unconditionally no matter what, 224.

Macy - Ready or not! Here comes a wild ride. It will definitely be a fun one but maybe trying at times. Like my Daddie says “I’m a lot to handle so there is no take backs”.

In what ways are you most alike?

Jake - with joking, we are always thinking the same thing

Macy - We both have a servants heart. We love to encourage and help others. Doing things for each other is never enough.

In what ways are you most different?

Jake - definitely music taste

Macy

- We are different in how we communicate our love. I communicate my love through gift giving and jake is through acts of service. Also He is a great listener and I am a great talker.

How did the proposal go?

Jake - very nerve racking but absolutely amazing

Macy - Well considering we are getting married! It went fantastic, although there was a hick-up, because the original venue was Houston Zoolights but Jake and my family had a backup plan that actual was more intimate and special. My family got all together and decorated my childhood home’s backyard at my parents’ home. All my family and friends were there to witness the love of my life get down on one knee and profess his love forever and always.

What are you looking forward to on your wedding day?

Jake - to seeing my gorgeous wife in her dress and telling her "I do"

Macy - Other than getting married, I am looking forward to the dancing!

Why do you love the bride/groom?

Jake - She is the most caring, loving, giving person I have ever met

Macy - Many reasons, He is an amazing man with a great heart, work ethic, love for his family and mine, smart, very dedicated, and is my shining light on the darkest days. He reminds me to not sweat the small stuff and let God handle it from there.

What are your honeymoon plans?

Jake - To visit somewhere very nice and make my wife very happy with something she'll never forget

Macy - Being anywhere but Texas. As long as there is a swim up bar though….

If you could change one thing about your partner what would it be?

Jake - absolutely nothing

Macy - I would tell him to give himself more mercy. He holds himself to the highest standard, which is great but he needs to have mercy on himself because nobody is perfect.
