Ian and I met through Temple College on a trip called Beach Retreat! I was an upcoming junior and Ian was about to be a freshman!

I was serving in the college band with Ians cousin Ethan, who then introduced me to Ian one night on the trip! Throughout that year Ian and I got to serve in the midweek band together and hang out in a lot of the same circles as friends!

The next August when I was going into senior year and Ian was going into sophomore year we were on the way to beach retreat this time both playing in the band! We had both just spent our summers at Pine Cove Ranch and Pine Cove City and got to talk about all that we learned and loved. I remember praying to God and asking Him to send me a husband who had qualities like Ian - never thinking God would be kind enough to have Ian be the one for me!

Through the next couple of months I think I saw Ian every single day... God continued to put us in the same crowds over and over! At the end of fall quarter we went on our first date and here we are getting married!! God has been so faithful to pair us together! I remember telling Ian before we started dating that God was calling me to move to Boston to help plant a church. He had nothing but support for this dream in my life! We have now been doing long distance for almost a year and this support has not wavered! I cannot wait to marry him and start our life of ministry together!! I love him so much.
