John Mark and Madalyn were introduced by a mutual friend in February of 2020. Unfortunately, John Mark's plan to be Madalyn's date for an AOII party was cancelled because of Covid. Thankfully they were able to stay in contact throughout that summer.

In August of 2020, their first date was a walk at Rowan Oak. John Mark didn't realize it was a date until later that evening!

Their first official date was at City Grocery in Oxford, MS!
