A Summary of Our Journey

They became bestfriends Maddi's sophomore year, Nico's junior year of high school through mutual friends and the a cappella group, Maximum Forte. They were instantly inseparable. They talked constantly, hung out whenever they could, and by the time Nico had left for college and Maddi was entering her senior year without him, there seemed to be a part of them missing. They realized there were strong feelings that neither of them could deny. Though their road to get here wasn't always smooth, they have learned so much about themselves and each other. They have grown so much throughout their three and a half years of dating. Saying yes to the proposal was the easiest yes of her life.

First Thoughts Upon Meeting:

Maddi: When I first saw Nico in 2017 I thought he was SUCH a dork. He was quirky, funny, kind, everything I could have wanted in a friend. He was so approachable and there didn't seem to be a person who could say one bad thing about him. I knew I wanted this guy to be my friend. We hit it off instantly. He very quickly became the person I laughed with, cried to, ranted to, and wanted to talk to everyday. Three years later he left for college and my world felt empty. I knew the one thing missing from my life, was him. He has always been my favorite person. They say to marry your best friend, right? Well I am so excited to do exactly that :)

Nico: When we first met we were very good friends and I always enjoyed talking to Maddi anytime I got the chance. She's a little quirky and I loved every minute I spent with her. Over time, I knew that she was someone I'd spend the rest of my life with no matter what! I can't wait to be married to the woman I love!!
