Back in 2016, Maddi and Eli were on the high school bowling team together. (Super romantic, we know) Maddi couldn’t drive yet, as she was only 15 years old, so Kim (Maddis mother) paid Eli $5 a day to take her to bowling practice. Long story short, Kim doesn’t have to pay Eli anymore.


As the years went on, the two of them eventually fell in love and the rest is history.


Eli went on to study at The University of Tennessee and Maddi to Southeast Missouri State University. They endured over 4 years of long distance. Between college date parties, lots of bar crawls, and time spent traveling, they are ready to tie the knot!


Eli proposed to Maddi at the Missouri Botanical Garden in December 2022 surrounded by their closest family and friends.


Maddi moved in with Eli in May 2023, and they have been wedding planning ever since. In Knoxville, they’ve built a little cat family comprised of Johnny and Dolly. Between Maddi’s job as a counselor, Eli’s as an engineer, and Maddi starting graduate school, needless to say their hands are full!


The two make the perfect life partners. Maddi’s tendency to be dramatic in every situation, overreact, and take things to the 100, is always balanced out by Elis practicality, level-headedness, and ability to remain calm.


After nearly eight years together, they cannot wait to celebrate with their loved ones on their special day.
