In the late summer of 2018, RJ and Maddie both embarked on their next adventure, attending college, at St. Mary's University. Days after moving in, both decided to attend the first Mass of the school year at Assumption Chapel. As fate would have it, Maddie and RJ sat next to each other during the Mass.

Throughout the next several months, RJ and Maddie's friendship grew to something more and the rest is history!
