Unless you were lucky enough to marry your high school sweetheart or find the love of your life at a bar in college, you're likely to end up in the world of online dating. Between the cheesy pick up lines and unanswered messages, it's a wonder how so many people do find their person this way.

Nick's well-crafted pickup line got the conversation started, but it was only after he had shown his commitment by watching all ten hours of a true crime documentary series on Maddie's recommendation that she agreed to go on a first date with him. They met on a Thursday evening at a Mexican restaurant for dinner and, somehow, the conversation was so captivating that they hadn't eaten more than chips and salsa and sipped on a margarita or two before the restaurant kicked them out to close - four hours later. The second, third, and fourth dates all happened within the next week.

This all happened in late February of 2020, so this was an unforgettable couple of weeks for Maddie and Nick. What followed was an unforgettable couple of months for the entire world.
