It all started on Mother’s Day at Tellico Marina. I was there, having dinner with a friend, when I noticed him. I didn’t know it yet, but that would be the moment that would change everything.
As we were both leaving the marina, something unexpected happened: his motorcycle belt broke and struck the front of my car. I kept driving, at first, but then the guilt hit me. I couldn’t just leave him. So, I turned around.
When I pulled up, there he was, standing next to his bike, clearly in need of help. I offered him a ride, and that’s when he introduced himself. From that moment on, we couldn’t seem to stay apart.
It was one of those moments you couldn’t have planned if you tried, and somehow, it just felt like fate. What started as a simple act of kindness blossomed into something much more. And now, here we are—inseparable and about to spend the rest of our lives together.
