Q: How are you handling COVID-19?

A: We would love to celebrate with you at our wedding, but please make the best decision for you and/or your family! We have been carefully monitoring the situation and strongly encourage our guests to get their vaccine and booster shots. We want to ensure that everyone feels safe, especially our at-risk guests. If you are not vaccinated, we may require that you present a negative COVID-19 test taken within the last 48 hours before attending and wear a mask for the duration of the wedding while indoors. Q: Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

A: Our ceremony and reception are both taking place at the Hyland Hills Ski Chalet – 8800 Chalet Rd, Bloomington, MN, 55438.

Q: When is the RSVP deadline?

A: Kindly RSVP on our website by May 14, 2022.

Q: Are children allowed?

A: Yes! Our caterer offers kids' meals for children under age 12.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Dress code is casual or semi-formal, but ideally we just want everyone to be comfortable! The ceremony portion of our wedding will be held outside on grass/slightly uneven ground, so please keep that in mind when choosing your footwear.

Q: Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

A: Weather-permitting, our ceremony will be held outdoors at the top of the ski hill. Guests will take the north chair lift to the top. Alternatively, a shuttle will be provided for those who need it.

The reception will take place indoors at the Ski Chalet, although guests will have access to the patio and Great Lawn outside.

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: If it rains, the ceremony will be performed inside the Ski Chalet at the scheduled time (4:30pm). After the ceremony, the tables and chairs will be rearranged for the reception.

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: Our ceremony begins at 4:30pm, but PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY so you have plenty of time to park and get to the top of the hill via chair lift or shuttle before the ceremony starts.

Q: Where can I park?

A: The venue has a large, free parking lot with plenty of space for all our guests. Please see the Venue Map tab on our website for a more detailed view of the parking.

Q: What happens after the ceremony?

A: After the ceremony, guests can make their way down the ski hill to the Chalet by either chair lift or shuttle. There will be a Social Hour with snacks and drinks on the outdoor patio before dinner.

Q: What type of food will be served?

A: There will be a plated dinner provided by CRAVE Catering. We will offer a chicken option, a beef option, a vegetarian option, and a kids' meal for those under age 12.

Q: Will there be vegetarian/gluten-free/nut-free food options?

A: Yes, we will be providing the above options in our meal selection. Let us know if you have questions concerning any dietary restrictions.

Q: What time is the reception scheduled to end?

A: Per our venue's restrictions, the reception will end at 11pm.
