Q + A

Start time

Our ceremony will begin at 2pm. We kindly request guests to arrive 30 minutes before the commencement of the ceremony. Cocktail hour will follow, with lawn games and grazing platters, before moving to the reception venue. The reception will conclude at 9pm. All guests are required to be off the property by 9:30pm.

Children

Absolutely! All children are welcome. Please do let us know whether your children will be coming to celebrate with you. Unfortunately, there will be no catering for children under four years old, so please feel free to bring some dinner or snacks along for them.

Food and drinks

While we are taking photos, there will be grazing platters and lawn games. During the reception, there will be ample canapes and drinks available, followed by cake/cupcakes for dessert. A tea/coffee/hot chocolate station will be available also.

Dietary restrictions/allergies

Please advise us of any allergy or dietary restriction/s at the time of your RSVP so we can ensure there will be suitable options available for you on the day.

Attire

Cocktail attire. Colour-wise, we would suggest fall colours - no neons please! Temperatures in Tamborine in September range between about 13-23 degrees. A light jacket may be required at night. *Please no white or sage green* Cowboy boots optional!

Plus ones

We can only extend invites to those on the physical invitation you received. To keep the night intimate, we have decided to only invite people we personally know.

Phones & photos

We would love everyone to be as present at possible during our ceremony and reception. Please NO PHONES during the ceremony. During the reception, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like - please share them with us!

Closest airport

Both Brisbane and Gold Coast airports are about one hour's drive from the venue.

Getting to the wedding

There is ample parking at the venue. For those who won't be driving themselves, we recommend pre-booking a taxi or uber service. These services are limited in Tamborine so pre-booking will be very important to ensure you get to the ceremony on time and can get home at the end of the night! If pre-booking isn't your thing, the following services, suggested by the venue, do not require a prior booking, however we cannot guarantee they will be available: Queen Bee Driving Service (0466 787 988), KWI personal driver (0466 693 541), Michelle (0439 676 864)

Accomodation

There are many accommodation options on Mount Tamborine, as well as Air BnBs. As our wedding is on the first weekend of the Queensland school holidays, we would recommend confirming your accommodation as soon as possible.

Gifts

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! Gifts are absolutely not required but if you would like to honor us with a gift, we have a registry of items to add to our new home. Gifts can be delivered to 40 Highland Crescent Belmont QLD 4153. We will have a wishing well for cards and well-wishes at our reception.

Gift registry

If you would like to purchase us a gift, please find our registry under the "Registry" tab on this website.

Post-wedding breakfast

We will be gathering with our families at 9:30am Monday 22nd September at the Bearded Dragon Hotel for breakfast. We welcome everyone to join us. Please let us know at the time of your RSVP if you intend to attend, so that we can book accordingly. Please note that breakfast will be at your own expense.
