Brian would tell you he was first intrigued by Maddie's goofiness and her beautiful smile. And the way her eyes held his while her big heart wrapped him in warmth and love.

Maddie, equally drawn to Brian, by his quiet intelligence, caring heart and competitive spirt to match her sense of humor.

What they discovered together was their love of adventure and helping each other out of their comfort zones.

Adventure that took them to the beauty of the Costa Rico shorelines and jungles, where Brian took great care of Maddie when she had sun poisoning.

Next, a cross-country adventure by air and land! Where they shared special moments and learned how to navigate together.

These experiences set them up for success just in time for their greatest adventure yet; becoming parents and the birth of their amazing son, Weston.
