Our Wedding

Maddie &amp; David's story began many years ago when their moms, Donna &amp; Judy, were best friends at Centerville High School. Bonded by the centerville elk spirit; Donna, Judy, and their ~girl gang~ remained best friends throughout their lives. All of the girls' families would vacation to lakes and beaches, but the Kubs and Bonds never seemed to be able to make the same trip. Until one year where both families were in attendance (pictured above), David saw Maddie for the first time and from then on, he knew his goal in life was to marry her. Fast forward 20 years and the moms were back on a girls trip in Arizona. After a dehydrating morning hike followed by lunchtime margaritas, Donna and Judy decided that their youngest children would be a perfect match. They also discovered that they both would be in Columbus, OH for the same OSU game in a few weeks. David and Maddie made plans to meet at a bar in Columbus before the game. Maddie walked into the picturesque Pint House and her and David met. He bought her a 24 oz. michultra to swoon her- and it worked. David then decided the next day he would 'stop by' Cincinnati on his 'way home' to Chicago and have lunch with Maddie the next day. That lunch turned into an 8 hour date walking, talking, and getting to know each other. Maddie and David both knew that day they had met their person &lt;3 They started dating in November 2022, and by March 2025 they were engaged! Donna and Judy's dream!
