Our Wedding

Our story began in 2017 when the Lord brought us together in such a special way. 	The first time we saw each other at a basketball game, we both knew there was something unique about what was to come. We met through mutual friends, and we are so thankful for the good friends and amazing family who witnessed us come together and build what we have now—going on 7 years! As you read our story, our prayer is that you see the love of the Lord shining through us and into your hearts. 	Maddie and I have been beyond blessed with so much love and support throughout the years we’ve been an official couple. When I first saw Maddie, I knew in my heart that one day, I would marry her. Through prayer and seeking His guidance, I truly believe that during our dating years, God was shaping us into the couple we are today. Our early years of dating were filled with highs and lows. There were days that were harder than others, but we always remained grounded in our faith and stood strong together. Those early years were filled with countless memories, beautiful places, and special moments where time seemed to stand still—moments we still look back on and laugh about to this day. Keep in mind that I thought she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen...and I still think and believe that to this day! 	After countless miles and long drives, we began to share common interests in many things—sports, the outdoors, and our love for the Lord. We dated through high school, all of college, and now, being engaged, it's clear that the path we’ve walked was laid out by the Lord. High school was fun, but college was a blast! Even though Maddie and I didn’t go to the same college, we didn’t let distance stop us from seeing each other and sharing in all the fun. A long-distance relationship truly tests your patience, understanding, love, and trust. But for us, the distance turned out to be a blessing in disguise, strengthening us in ways we never imagined.Towards the end of Maddie’s time at GSU, as she worked on her undergraduate degree, the most beautiful day arrived when I asked her to be my wife. The emotions of that day will stay with us both for the rest of our lives. Calling our engagement day beautiful doesn't even begin to capture how intimate and full of love it was. We still replay it in our minds, remembering how perfect it was and how surrounded we were by love and support from our families. 	Now, as we are engaged, we have the honor and privilege of entering a new season of life where we get to really start learning more about each other and allowing our love to grow with each passing day. 	We hope that through this short story of 7 years filled with countless memories, experiences, and blessings, you can clearly see how great our God is. We are eagerly looking forward to the biggest day of our lives as our wedding day approaches. 	We love each and every one of you and are so thankful for the support you've shown us throughout all the years and seasons of life that Maddie and I have been through. We have reserved a block of rooms for our guests at Holiday Inn to ensure your stay is comfortable and convenient as possible. Our block includes 50 rooms available at a special group rate.
