Q + A

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

The ceremony begins promptly at 6:00 PM. We ask that you arrive at 5:00 PM. The trams leave to go to the ceremony site at 5:15 and 5:30. Early arrival allows time to use the restroom and to ensure you get to the ceremony on time.

Am I allowed to take photos or videos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present with us in the moment, and we’ve invited a professional photographer to capture it all beautifully. Don’t worry—you’ll be able to enjoy and share those memories afterward!

What is the dress code?

We kindly request that guests arrive in cocktail attire. For women, midi to floor-length dresses are recommended. Please note that while most of the celebration will take place on solid ground, parts of the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on grass—so we encourage you to plan your footwear accordingly!

Can I bring additional guests?

Due to venue capacity and planning, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What about kids?

As much as we love your little ones, we ask that you only bring those guests that are noted on your invitation and appreciate your understanding.

How do I get in the garden?

When you come to the gate house, tell the attendant that you are there for the wedding of Peter and Madeline!

How do I get to the ceremony?

The ceremony will be held at Renaissance Court. After arriving at the Gardens, first head to Rose Garden Hall which is located beside the garden parking lot to the right of Baker Hall. From there, you can be picked up by tram or take a 10 minute stroll if you'd rather enjoy the gardens on foot.

Can I explore the gardens before the ceremony?

Yes! Each guest gets admission to the gardens for the day of the wedding. Feel free to go to the gardens earlier in the day before getting ready!
