Brice is one of Lance's friends from childhood. He ran track and cross country at Emporia State University and is now an internal auditor at Spirit AeroSystems.

Caitlin is Maddie's oldest sister who is a nurse in San Diego with her husband Rylan. Caitlin was a catcher at HCC and Friends University.

Caleb is Lance's younger brother. He recently accepted a position as an API Engineer in Colorado.

Eli and Lance have been friends since they started school together, and they are each others' Best Man. Eli worked as a certified welder and is now a building inspector for Butler County.

Jadyn is Maddie's middle sister. She is a registered behavior technician in Kansas City. Jadyn cheered at KU all four years and represented the U.S. on the U.S. national team for four years.

Kenny was Lance's coworker at Dillons before finding both of them a new job. He now works as a commercial pest control specialist for Pinnacle Solutions.

Lilly was Maddie's teammate on the Washburn dance team. She was recently accepted to Washburn University Law.

Malia was Maddie's teammate on the Washburn dance team after dancing at NCCC. She currently works in payroll at Barts Electric in Kansas City.
