While Reed and I likely crossed paths in high school, it was not until after college that we reconnected. Reed and I met at Mickey Finns in Libertyville in 2020 right before Covid. Reed swore he would never date anyone from Libertyville, let alone marry someone from Libertyville. But, we stayed in touch during quarantine and started dating shortly thereafter. Reed and I took our first trip abroad together in the fall of 2023. It was my dream to go to Paris and see the Eiffel Tower "shimmer." Reed took me to a restaurant overlooking the Eiffel Tower and proposed on the patio while the Eiffel Tower was shimmering. It was the dreamiest proposal, and the best night of my life! We spent the rest of our time abroad celebrating in Paris and London. We cannot wait to continue to do life together!
