Our freshman year at Mississippi State, Blake and I were in a composition class together with about 20 people. Blake sat behind me and we frequently talked within our group of friends around our desks. We would see each other around campus (in Kappa Sig mostly) but would just briefly speak and say hey. Flash forward to 2021 in August of our junior year, we were at Ricks Cafe listening to Wesley Walker sing. Little did I know, this was one of Blakes best friends. We re-met this night and were able to get to know each other more. Thanks to Catherine Grace Lary (now Hodges), she convinced him to take me to a date party. I think we have been inseparable ever since! I thank the Lord every day for Catherine Grace convincing him to take me, this day would not have been possible without her!
