We met our first weekend at NDSU. We went on a date to get frozen yogurt at Cherry Berry, but Maddie got scared and called it off. If you ask Greg, he says it's because he started growing his dreads and was in his "ugly phase". This is still a hotly debated topic to this day. This picture was taken about a year later, in October 2015.

We officially started dating. We had been going on dates since the beginning of the school year. Greg was dropping Maddie off at her house after dinner, and he asked her to be his girlfriend. Of course she said YES!

We celebrated Maddie, who graduated from NDSU with a degree in Nursing! Shortly after graduating, she started working at Gillette Children's in St. Paul, MN.

We rescued Dug! His shelter name was Greg and we knew it was meant to be. That and he is just the cutest thing ever!

We celebrated Greg, who graduated from NDSU with a degree in Civil Engineering! He started working at Ulteig in St. Paul shortly after graduating.

Greg won his fourth FCS National Championship title while playing for the Bison Football Team!

We went on our first vacation together to Mexico. It was only fitting that we planned it 3 days before leaving.

We had a family-filled weekend on the East Coast! This was Maddie's first trip to the east coast and Boston. It was also her first time meeting the extended Menard family as we celebrated Christmas out east. We also were able to see Tom Brady's last win as a Patriot!

We welcomed our little ball of energy into the family. Freddie!

We closed on our house AND Greg proposed :)
