Officiant
Owen Grella - Officiant
Brandon and I have been through a lot together in the 20 years I’ve known him. We’ve lived together as roommates on several occasions and experienced the trials of life side by side. All of our laughs and memories go on for days on end and that’s something I’m forever grateful for. It’s a true honor and privilege to be the person who gets to tie the knot between these two incredible people.

"My mom and Dad brought home a baby doll that was alive, and told me it was my new sister. I was just making sure when I took her out of her crib, and I knew from then on that we would always be friends.
It also says something about how trusting she is that she lets me cut her hair after the disastrous cut I gave her when I was four. Mom had to get pretty much all of her hair shaved off because of the damage I had done. Oops."

"Maddi and I met…well I can’t exactly remember but we were for sure enduring the same church activities by the age of 12.
Because of our church connection we supported each other through awkward double dates, overnight camps where we we once had to dress as pilgrims (yes, there is photo proof), and spent our time passing countless notes through my iPod Touch when our attention was absolutely supposed to be on more important “church-things.”
I willingly stood by her side through all the rebellious shenanigans of our youth, and as Maddi’s best friend for eternity, I am tremendously honored to stand by her side as she gets married!"
Katie Silguero - Bridesmaid
"Maddi and I met on New Year’s Eve 2019 and over the past 5 years she has become one of my dearest & most beloved friends. Looking back, it’s sweet to think that I didn’t even realize how much her and Brandon would be apart of my life moving forward, and what a true connection just came into my circle.
Later in 2019 I slid into Maddi’s DMs inquiring about a job at her company. Still near strangers, Maddi not only responded to me (lol) but sat with me over margaritas and helped me interview prep - one of my favorite memories together when looking back. I ended up getting the job on Maddi’s team and our bond quickly grew from coworkers to friends over the years.
Maddi and Brandon - Aaron and I love you both so so much and are honored to stand beside you on your big day. Here’s to many more years of friendship, camping, dancing, and laughter together❤️"
Yelena Saar - Bridesmaid
"When I first met Maddi at work, I thought she looked incredibly cool and beautiful. I guess the feeling was mutual because she ended up stalking my Instagram and accidentally liking a photo from 2013. When she nervously told me about it, I just laughed and said, “Did you follow me tho?” From that awkward beginning, a great friendship was born. One of my favorite memories is when we went glamping together. There was a burn ban, so we had to use the cooking grill as our “fire.” We sat around it, talking about life, and somehow managed not to set anything on fire. Maddi’s a bit of a weirdo, but she’s my kind of weirdo, and I can’t wait to stand by her side on her big day."
Sofia Elam - Bridesmaid
"We technically met at work but became close when Yelena planned a somewhat spontaneous girls night out. Frivolity ensued.
My favorite memory together is when we went to Maddi's first spa and she dunked her entire body into the ice plunge pool like a Viking shield maiden who has never felt fear.
I love you both and am so excited to be apart of your big day!"

"I met Brandon on the sideline of a morning Vista Ridge football practice (freshman // sophomore year). My favorite memories of him are when literally, every day after school, we’d go to Jones Brother’s Park in Lago Vista to do hood rat things & catch up on new emo music.
Some of us used Nair in high school during football season because we got our ankles taped. One time we left a bottle at Brandon’s house while we went to go get food. Aka he was left by himself with the bottle. Upon our return we had learned that Brandon found out very quickly that Nair was not meant for certain parts of your body … 🍆🔥"
Bryan Christian - Groomsman
"I met Brandon some time after high school through our buddy Jonathan. We would jam various metal bands outside of our apartment in Jonathan’s truck. We had a tight knit group of friends, but it was clear as soon as he started hanging out with us, he fit in perfectly!
Favorite memory: Other than seeing him play live music for the first time? One of my favorite memories is when Brandon and I lived together, he would let me sit in on some of the band practices..not to mention the many life talks we had on our patio!
One funny story is on one of the many nights we were all playing video games, Brandon still appeared to be online but we hadn’t heard from him for a few minutes..all of a sudden we heard the sound of someone snoring..he had completely passed out while we were in a game 😂😂 #letmedrive"
Aaron Grella - Groomsman
"I’ve got so many great music memories with Brandon as I’m sure most of us do. One of them has to be singing “Cold Desert” by Kings of Leon at the top of our lungs on a drive home from a concert. I think we might of actually been shedding tears of joy while doing it. Once the song finished we laughed it off and started the song over to sing from the start again. Although we were back at my house we drove through the neighborhood so we could sing it together one more time before heading in to our ladies.
Another one of my favorites I wasn’t even actually there in person for. It was in a group chat among a lot of our friends. Brandon and Maddi were camping at Turkey Bend and their camp site was invaded by a rattle snake. He proceeded to ask for advice from all of us whilst dealing with the snake and giving us a play by play. We were telling him all sort of things from “smash it’s head in with a heavy rock”, or “you’ve got to cut off it’s head and bury it so nobody steps on it”, and countless other phrases I’m sure would be hilarious to read back in modern times. It all concluded with a photo of Brandon with snake blood on him and he’d said it was handled lolololol.
I want to speak on why I love him as a person and friend. It’s got to be the love and positive energy that naturally resonates from him. There’s not many people I get excited to spend time with more than Brandon. I can always count on having an amazing time and laughing till it hurts when I’m with him. It gets harder to find that “child like connection” and comfortability with people the older you get. It becomes more difficult to laugh and let it all go even just for a night the further down the line of life we get. But my time I spend with Brandon reminds me to cherish the smaller things in life because he’s a ray of positivity. Whether that be a night with your friends, a beautiful sunset, or a star filled sky on a Texas night in the middle of nowhere. These are all examples of moments of love/bonding we’ve shared.
I can’t ever help the feeling I have of “time well spent” when I’ve been with Brandon and Maddi. He has a way of making me feel like a kid again and that’s something worth holding onto as we grow and age, it’s a feeling of ecstasy. So if you’ve got the honor of knowing and or calling this man your friend consider yourself lucky to have aligned with his life’s direction.
I love Brandon like a brother and would do damn near anything for him."
Garrett Graham - Groomsman
"I met Brandon through JJ, either at school one day or when we were all at Jones Brother Park messing around listening to metal music, throwing the football, and other crazy things. He was goofy, funny and an overall fun person to be around.
My favorite memories would have to be all the one liners he says that make me laugh, still to this day. “Let me drive I’m the good driver” - Xbox with the boys! “Hey babe watch this” - and did a goofy dance for Maddison! And I get the pleasure of seeing him everyday at work! And get to have his positive energy all the time. Seeing him play his music and how happy it made him to play for his friends."
Tyler Hood - Groomsman
"I love this picture because every time Brandon sees it he bursts into happiness.
It was taken on a lap top in 2009, Brandon slept on our couch to the right, and we played sooo much heavy music, drank to the good times, and created thousands of memories in that space. The brotherly love was and still is something more than special.
Cheers y'all!"
