Our Love Story... both sides

If you ask Maddison...

Our story began with a part time job, which I thought would be like any other. Around end of April 2022, I started working at a restaurant called YaYa's Euro Bistro. There is where I met Tim. At the time I was not really looking for anything. However, God had other plans. I met Tim my second day, he trained me. Right away we really connected. We talked about ourselves and laughed much more that night then we would actually work. Each night you train, you get to try different foods, that night was salads. I pointed to the beet salad that sat in front of us and I told him that beets can be used as a natural lipstick. "Oh, really?" Tim said, as he picked one up and smeared it on his lips. It was that most simple and goofy gesture that made me start to wonder if this would be something. That night on the way home I told my sister about him, even though I got some backlash because I was supposed to be "focusing on me". Oddly enough a girlfriend of mine, Kourtney, who had introduced me to Yayas, also, had mentioned that she thought Tim and I would be a perfect match. After growing closer at work and after work over smoothies, it was becoming clear that we were the perfect match. It wasn't long before we both said "I love you" and in over two years together we've learned exactly what "I love you" really means.

We went through a lot together at the start. The one thing we knew was that we loved each other, but we were learning how to love ourselves. We both had baggage from other relationships/life. No matter what it was, we encouraged each other to grow and loved each other through it. We started attending a church together and started to make God the center of our relationship. In return God has thanked us by blessing us immensely and continuing to bless us even now.

Crazy to think we are here now but I know we wouldn’t be where we are today without Christ. I adore Tim and his loving family. And he fits well into my large family as well. I am so excited to be marrying my best friend. YaYas wasn’t the best part time job but it brought me my soon to be husband so for that I’m forever thankful.

If you ask Tim...

I met Maddison while working at a restaurant I wasn't particularly fond of. Oddly enough, I wasn't even supposed to work that evening, but I am glad I agreed to train the new girl. My first impression of her was that she was stunningly gorgeous. As the night went on, I quickly realized she was much more than a pretty face. We clicked almost immediately. I'm normally pretty reserved but that night we talked like we had been friends for years. We took things pretty slow at the start, us both having just come out of relationships. I had prayed that God put a woman in my life and He delivered. The last two years I have created some of the most special memories with Maddison. Through ups and downs she has become such an integral part of my life and it didn't take long for me to realize she was my forever. The growth, both spiritually and in our relationship, has been such a breath of fresh air and there is no one I would rather spend my life with. I cannot wait for what the future holds and I am beyond blessed to be marrying my best friend this coming August.
