On a cold rainy evening, a group of friends came together to form a home group to foster strong community. Little did Maddy and Josh know this would be the start of something special. They immediately took notice of each other. But didn't begin talking until after a couple of months, when Maddy mustered up enough courage to ask Josh about what knife sharpener to get as an excuse to talk to him. After that, they began talking more and more, and after a couple of weeks, Josh asked Maddy to go rock climbing with a group. To both their surprise, no one showed up, and they talked the night away. A couple of weeks later, Josh asked Maddy to be his girlfriend, and Maddy enthusiastically said yes!

As they began to get to know each other, they soon discovered that they shared the same hobbies, especially those that required being outdoors. Their relationship grew stronger and stronger through hours of talking and exchanging sarcastic comments. It became rare for them to spend a day apart.
