We recommend flying into Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO)
Does the wedding venue itself have lodging?
No. The wedding venue is at the Olympic Village Event Center - 1901 Chamonix Pl, Olympic Valley, CA 96146. We recommend staying in the Olympic Village at one of the hotels near by.
How far is the airport to the site of lodging / reception
About 1 hour depending on traffic
How do I get to my hotel?
Linked under "travel" is a website for a shuttle that takes from Reno-Tahoe Airport to the Pallisades / Olympic Village area. Other options include renting a car for the weekend or uber.
What is Pallisades Tahoe?
Pallisades Tahoe is in the beautiful Olympic Valley, CA. Tahoe Pallisades itself acts as a ski resort in the winter. It has lodging and restaurants. It is also close to near by hiking, bike riding, and 15 minutes from the beautiful Lake Tahoe
Where should I stay? How far are they from the reception
We recommend staying at Pallisades Village Tahoe, PlumpJack, or Pallisade Tahoe Lodge Rentals which you can find links for under "travel." All of them are a 5 minute walk to and from the reception site so no uber / shuttles are necessary. Airbnb is another option, however, you will be walking distance to all activities on Saturday if you stay at one of the recommended hotels. If you choose to do an airbnb, you may not be walking distance to the events and we will not provide shuttles from your airbnb.
