Colin and I met on New Year’s Eve in 2021 at a bar in Seattle called Ozzie's....thanks to my sister, Katy. I remember thinking how sweet he was - and yes, maybe a little drunk, too. Before I headed back to Arizona to finish my final year of college, he asked me out, and soon after DM’d me to plan our first date at Black Duck in Issaquah. What felt like a simple first date quickly became something we both wanted to keep exploring.
A few months later, we reunited at the 2022 Waste Management Phoenix Open- meeting up on the iconic 16th hole before heading to dinner in Scottsdale. That weekend marked the start of something more intentional.
We stayed close while I finished school, and when I moved back to Washington to start my first job, Colin was the constant in a season of change. Eventually, we moved into an apartment together in Queen Anne, where we started to build our life side by side. On July 1st of 2025 Colin pulled off the greatest surprise when he proposed at one of our favorite places-where we’ve spent the 4th of July together, Chamber’s Bay Landing in Lake Tahoe. With my family secretly in on the plan, what I thought was just another beautiful evening by the lake turned into the easiest “yes,” and truly the greatest moment of my life so far.
In September 2025, we closed on our first home in Issaquah - ironically, right where our love story began - and now we can’t wait to start our greatest adventure yet: marriage.
