People say that timing is everything. That statement has rang very true for our relationship. Our first encounter was over 5 years ago. Sometimes it would be months or years between seeing each other. However, we always lingered in the back of each other's minds. What if.... and then the thought would pass and we would both re-enter the gladiator arena that is the Bozeman dating scene.
We were both exhausted by the dating world. I had always wanted a Wyoming boy, and I just wasn't finding him. I told my sister Allie, " If one more guy takes me to the Tap Room Bar I'm becoming a nun". Enter Keegan.
After years of near misses Keegan finally asked me out. We were both finally single and this could really be it. Keegan asked me to meet him at... the Tap Room. I almost canceled the date right then and there. However, I was pleasantly surprised when we both ordered a Coors Light instead of a fancy brew. Keegan admitted that he preferred the Hideaway Lounge (a local dive), and I thought for the first time that maybe this could work.
The next two years were full of trips to Townsend for pie, Ennis for fishing, and slowly falling in love. Very slowly. Everyone around us was begging us to get more serious, pushing to make it official. But as we all know, we are the stubborn babies of our families. Between butting heads and killing elk something beautiful formed. A real life love.
So, yes, timing is everything, and it's time to party! So grab your boots, bring your 307 attitude and get ready for a real Wyoming wedding! We can't wait to see you the 28th!
Cheers,
