We will be hosting welcome drinks with light appetizers the night before the wedding at the infamous Porthole restaurant right on the water in the heart of the Old Port. Our welcome event is an open-house style event. The main(e) event! We are so excited to celebrate with everyone. Our ceremony and reception will take place at the Trefethen Evergreen Improvement Association (TEIA) on Peaks Island, ME. Maddy's dad, Chuck, and the Piacentini family spent all of their summers on the island and it has been an incredibly special place to our family for generations. Tom has gotten to experience the magic of the island and we are so happy to be getting married there. The venue is a classically-Maine coastal tennis and sailing club that acts as a gathering space for many island residents. It has a beautiful lawn overlooking Casco Bay, a large wrap-around porch and a beautiful interior with an old-timey coastal feel.
