Maddy and Nick met at Fishers High School through their friends and began dating during their senior year. After a fun six months together, Maddy went to Wisconsin for college while Nick stayed in Indiana. They dated throughout the first two years of college but eventually lost touch during their junior and senior years.

During the summer of 2020, the two got back in touch while Maddy was still living in Wisconsin and Nick was back home. Over a long phone conversation, Maddy shared that she would be moving back to Indiana to start nursing school in the fall. On their first date together after Maddy had moved back, Maddy and Nick decided to give things another go.

After that, the rest was history! Since then, Nick has completed law school, Maddy has finished nursing school (and is now enrolled in a graduate nursing program), and the two have moved in together, taken some incredible vacations, and welcomed a dog, Mosby, into their little family!
