IT IS A BUSY WEEKEND IN PITTSBURGH: WE RECOMMEND BOOKING YOUR ROOM EARLY! The Pittsburgh Marathon is the same weekend as our wedding. On Saturday there will be road closures downtown and along the North Shore. On Sunday morning there will be many road closures. You can get the full marathon details at https://www.thepittsburghmarathon.com/. We have rooms blocked at the Sheraton Station Square, which avoids the Saturday road closures and the roads there open up around 10:30am-11am on Sunday. If you need to get out of town before 10:30am-11am on Sunday morning we have rooms at The Tryp in Lawrenceville. The Tryp is near the wedding venue, and is not impacted by the marathon. The shuttles will be leaving the hotel at 3 & 4PM. For those who take the early bus there will be yard games as well as refreshments!

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue. For those who are staying at The Sheraton, we will have a shuttle to transport guests to and from the venue. Guests staying at The Tryp will need to transport themselves to and from the venue. Uber and Lyft are readily available in the city, please avoid drinking and driving and make alternative arrangements for transportation!

Yes! We will be having a welcome party on Friday evening and a farewell brunch on Sunday morning. The welcome party and farewell brunch will both be held at The Sheraton. There will also be an after party on Saturday evening after the wedding at The Sheraton.

Saturday many local roads downtown and North Shore (stadium area) will be closed. Stick to the highways. Sunday morning Carson Street (the street in front of the hotel) will be closed from approximately 6am-11am.
