We met in middle school through a mutual friend. We hung out at the East Pete pool during the summers. We had very few classes together in middle school and zero classes together in high school. In 11th grade (2015-2016), we slowed danced together at homecoming. Zach did not make any eye contact with Madee the entire time. His excuse was because she was too short. She believes he was just awkward and too scared to.

Fast forward to October 2020. Zach messaged Madee on SnapChat where they talked everyday. It took an entire year of talking and not meeting up in person for Zach to get the guts to ask Madee on a date. Zach finally asked Madee to be his girlfriend on November 3, 2021.

We moved in together in July 2022 and got engaged in September 2023. We just bought our first house together in December 2024.
