Our story began at the University of Guelph in first year accounting class in MacKinnon Hall. Maddy, the keener she is, was sitting in the front row when Rameez walked in late, as per usual, and took the last seat available beside her. I'm sure our first conversation started with Rameez asking to copy some of Maddy's accounting notes, which became a regular thing across the classes we shared. It wasn't until second year when we both ended up on the same Greyhound bus back home for the break that we realized we had a lot in common, and actually grew up only five minutes away from each other.

Over the rest of our time at Guelph we bonded over our love for movies, sports, and our love hate relationship with accounting (although it may have only been hate for Rameez). From the beginning we had an instant connection and became each others best friends. It took us awhile to realize and admit our feelings for each other but once we did the rest was history!
