Our Wedding

Dylan and Madeleine’s paths first crossed through their college ministry, 747, at Arkansas State University. Both were deeply involved as leaders, often serving behind the scenes. As Madeleine entered her senior year, she couldn’t help but notice Dylan. He was always around—quiet, steady, faithfully pouring into the ministry. To her, he seemed mysterious and shy… but she would soon discover that wasn’t the whole story. The first spark came on the very first day of school. Madeleine was helping the 747 team send out reminder texts about the upcoming service when Dylan’s name popped up on the list. Since he was already a leader, he definitely didn’t need a reminder—but Madeleine saw her chance. With a little grin, she sent the text anyway, quickly following it up with, “Sorry Dylan, I didn’t notice who I was texting off the list!” It was a playful move, but it worked—Dylan had her number now, and Madeleine had officially caught his attention. From there, they kept finding ways to be around each other. Madeleine signed up for intramural volleyball—because Dylan was playing. Dylan suddenly became a huge Memphis Grizzlies fan—because Madeleine already was one. One little “coincidence” after another kept drawing them closer, until Dylan finally asked Madeleine on their first date to Hijinx on December 5, 2022. Not long after, on January 25, 2023, they made it official: Dylan and Madeleine were a couple. From there, their story unfolded quickly and joyfully, leading up to the moment Dylan got down on one knee and asked Madeleine to marry him on June 7, 2025. And the rest, as they say, is history—the beginning of a lifetime together.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We recommend getting there a little early to find your seat before it begins!
