Our favorite brunch spot in St. Louis! This is located in Lafayette Square which is south of Downtown. Maddie gets the Breakfast Burrito and Dillon gets the Osso Buco Hash. We tend to pair this brunch with quite a few mimosas.
One of our favorite sports bars before a Cardinals or Blues game - this place has awesome appetizers, an incredible bourbon selection, and is right next to Busch Stadium (approximately 7 minutes from the Shrine of St. Joseph).
Ballpark Village, which is approximately a 5 minute drive from the Shrine of St. Joseph, is a great spot before the Cocktail Hour on Saturday. It is nearly adjacent to Busch Stadium.
Grab a glass of wine at the wine bar where we had several of our first dates! There is a Sasha’s closer to Downtown off of Shaw Boulevard but the De Mun location is our favorite of the two.
McGurks has easily the best patio in the City. McGurks is located in Soulard just south of Downtown. Dillon indulges in Irish Car Bombs and Maddie watches since she physically can’t drink one. They also have incredible bar food. This would be an awesome spot for the Friday night before the wedding!
Grab dinner at Zias - Maddie's favorite Italian restaurant on The Hill! The Hill is an iconic Italian neighborhood southwest of Downtown St. Louis. This (or really any of the spots on The Hill) would be a great spot for dinner on Friday! A lot of places do not take reservations on The Hill so we recommend looking online or calling the restaurant.
Check out Forest Park, rated as one of the best parks in the entire country. Maddie and Dillon had their first date at this park! The park contains awesome walking paths, Art Museum, and The Zoo (free!).
360 Rooftop is a rooftop bar next to Ballpark Village. To get there, walk through the main doors of the Hilton at the Ballpark Hotel and go up the elevator to the 26th floor. Great views and creative drinks!
Some say these are the best sandwiches in St. Louis and we couldn’t agree more! This is an awesome spot for lunch. Maddie and Dillon both get the Mississippi Nights Club.
One of our favorite dinner spots. Funny enough, Dillon doesn't love oysters but this place has one hell of a Shrimp Po Boy with Garlic Parmesan Fries. Their live music on the patio is a must and they have awesome drinks.
The Hotel Bar will be open before the Cocktail Hour on the Saturday of the Wedding. Feel free to go back to your room at the Hotel or grab a drink at the Hotel Bar before the Cocktail Hour begins.
